Anita was an amazing host and was extremely welcoming me and my friend went with my little boy. When we first got there she was showing us we would be able to see the Alton towers fireworks from the window and where to be looking for them. At breakfast time she even provided us with children’s cutlery my little boy had beans on toast and she even cut the toast up into little pieces for him making it so much easier. Would definitely go again (her chocolate chip banana cake was super nice too)

Anita and Mick were outstanding hosts. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, food was excellent and location was beautiful and peaceful. Wi-Fi throughout the accommodations was good. Would recommend it for a quiet break or hectic trip to Alton Towers.

We booked this B&B based on previous reviews, and due to it's close proximity to Alton Towers; the 5 star reviews are very well justified! Anita & Mick are excellent hosts, who go above and beyond what's expected to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was delicious (perfect poached eggs), and seemingly a never ending supply of cake! We'll definitely be back. Thanks again to you both.

This is our third visit to the Bay Tree so that says it all really as we absolutely love it here! Anita and her husband are fabulous hosts. The rooms are perfect for our needs. The bed is so comfortable! The location is perfect - only a 5/10 min drive to the towers. Anita bakes the most gorgeous cakes and even on our most recent visit baked me some delicious gluten free scones! Thanks again for a wonderful 2 nights stay and we are looking forward to coming back in the future 🙏

I stayed at The Bay Tree for two nights with my son for a trip to Alton Towers, and this charming B&B exceeded all of our expectations. Anita and Mick are the most delightful hosts - they were friendly, helpful and cooked a delicious breakfast in the morning. Their attention to detail in every aspect of their property - the rooms, common areas and gardens - was second to none. They had thought of every convenience and need a guest might have and we were delighted by so many lovely touches (scones on our first night, an honesty fridge with snacks…). Whenever we come back to the area we will book here straight away!

Recently stayed at The Bay Tree B&B with my partner and we had a fantastic time. Anita and Mick are the best hosts you could ask for - homemade brownies on arrival, beautiful and well kept facilities, our room was immaculate and coffee/tea/milk are all available on arrival (as are snacks and cold drinks), the dining room and lounge area is very relaxing and peaceful, amazing views of Alton's hillsides, and a lovely breakfast menu with a wide range of choices for all dietary requirements. Anita makes the best coffees too!! We couldn't recommend The Bay Tree enough to people visiting Alton or the surrounding areas. It's 5 minutes' drive from Alton Towers theme park and you will be looked after incredibly well by Anita and Mick during your stay. They provide the best hospitality whilst respecting your privacy. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great information given on local taxi services, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. We were text this information along with directions to the B&B and a video tour of the B&B in advance of our stay - this is hospitality at it's finest! Thoroughly recommended - the best B&B I've stayed in by a country mile. We can't wait to stay at The Bay Tree again when we return to Alton Towers later this year.

This is a wonderful B&B that focuses on comfort, cleanliness, & friendliness. Anita and Mick go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. I have been traveling for over 40 years, and this is by far the nicest B&B I have stayed in by any measure. The rooms and breakfast are fantastic. The breakfast and living rooms are comfortable with lovely views. It is close to Alton Towers theme park, and there are lovely rambles out the front door. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

The Bay Tree Inn far exceeded any expectations. The location was ideal for Alton Towers and was very close to pubs for an evening out. Anita and Mick were wonderful hosts and so so sweet. They definitely went above and beyond as hosts. The B&B has a very beautiful surrounding and it is very peaceful and tranquil when sitting out and enjoying a drink or food. There are even cows in the back which was so nice to see in the morning and evenings. The breakfast in the morning was spectacular! So many options, all fresh food and so flavourful. We would come back in a heartbeat even to just visit with Anita and Mick since they are honestly the sweetest. We can't thank them enough. If we could, we would do 10 ⭐

Just home from a 1 night stay at The Baytree….wish we could have stayed all week! Everything about it was absolutely perfect. Our room (the garden room) was immaculate and very spacious, the host Anita was so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! The location is perfect, has good parking very close by and the pathway to the accommodation is tarmac and without any steps, which was very important to me, as I was treating my elderly mother to this little break for her birthday. We arrived about 6pm as we had been shopping in Ashbourne which is close by and well worth a visit if you have time. Mick (Anita’s husband) had set up a table and chairs on the upper patio so that we could enjoy the rest of the late evening sun as we sampled Anita’s delicious homemade cupcakes. At breakfast time our table was set up with balloons, birthday banners and serviettes and even a glass of Prosecco with a strawberry in for us each to enjoy…..we were both very touched. We enjoyed our breakfast whilst watching the many interesting birds feeding from just beyond the window. The Bay Tree really is a wonderful place to stay, beautiful location and views, spotlessly clean and very attentive hosts (without being intrusive I must add). 5 stars and more! Can’t wait to return. Thank you again both of you for a lovely time.

We felt so welcomed in The Bay Tree! Perfect location if you’re going to Alton Towers, and a beautiful peaceful place to stay regardless. The room was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed the shared living space which had beautiful views, with a selection of games, drinks and snacks available at any time (and fresh scones and cake too!) Lots of choice for breakfast, with delicious home-made food to order. We also loved the beautiful view from the breakfast table! Thanks for a lovely stay
